Fall River’s Freddy Wall scored nearly a goal game in the ASL, spending much of his professional career playing outside New England. In 1927, Wall performed for Galicia SC, the International League champions, and was in the starting lineup for a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid on Sept. 24, 1927.

Fall River Marksmen teammates Billy Gonsalves, 22, and Bert Patenaude, 20, provided the U.S. goals against Brazil in a post-1930 World Cup match. Patenaude led the team with 10 goals (plus eight goals disallowed), all scored in seven games during the World Cup and post-WC tour.
