“President [G.A.G.] Wood is opening the purse strings to give Boston a winning team. The value of Tommy Muirhead, Alex McNab, McMillan, J. Ballantyne, W. Paterson and Willie Ballantyne, if placed in the open market and priced as transfer fees go on the other side today, would amount to close to $65,000. That is a conservative estimate.
