Argentinian Jorge Piotti scored twice as the Boston Tigers moved within a point of first-place Philadelphia in the ASL standings. Brazilian cousins Carlos and Gilson Metidieri were featured in a Boston Globe story, noting Gilson had scored five goals in a recent match for Boston.
