Feb. 11, 2011 – Revolution acquire Ousmane Dabo from SS Lazio

The New England Revolution acquired Ousmane Dabo and Didier Domi on free transfers, the team’s first French players. Dabo, one of the most accomplished midfielders in Revolution history, had played for five Serie A teams, plus Manchester City, Monaco and Rennes. Frank Dell’Apa began covering soccer in the days of the original NASL. He was the Boston Globe’s soccer columnist for nearly 23 years before being recruited to work for a start-up television network in Miami.
