Klemm and Chadwick scored for New Bedford FC against the “West Philadelphians” in the U.S. Open Cup. “New Bedford soccer eleven sent more than 1,000 enthusiasts wild with joy … The game was contested in rain which fell throughout, the playing surface being covered in slimy mud,” according to The Boston Globe.
