Michael Parkhurst started for the Revolution from 2005-08, then moved to Europe, returning to MLS in 2014.

Jan. 13, 2011 – Revolution select A.J. Soares with No. 6 pick in MLS SuperDraft

A.J. Soares became a Revolution starter in central defense, paired with Franco Coria, in the team’s season-opener, a 1-1 draw with the LA Galaxy at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., on March 20, 2011. Soares, who totaled 101 appearances and five goals in all competitions, concluded his Revolution career in the 2014 MLS Cup final, a 2-1 extra time loss to the Galaxy at the StubHub Center in Carson.
