Former Arsenal, Manchester United and Ireland national team striker Frank Stapleton was named the New England Revolution’s first coach. University of Vermont coach Ron McEachen, former Connecticut high school star, became assistant coach.

Jan. 4, 1919 – Trimo FC receives Grieve Cup as champions of Boston and District League title

The Trimont Tool Co. sponsored a soccer team that played at the Marcella St. Grounds in Roxbury. Ceremony to present the cup was conducted at 694 Washington St.
